Books - Bryce Canyon and More!

No, you haven't heard from me in a week, but my family and I have been to Bryce Canyon. What a beautiful place to get inspired! We stayed at the Evergreen.

Myself and my daughter, Tiffanie in front of the cabin.

The stairs to the second floor where my daughter and her two kids slept were an exercise in and of themselves. Fortunately, my husband and I got to sleep on the main floor.

The view from our porch, and where I wrote every morning. It was splendid! So quiet!

One of my favorite places - Mossy Creek

My family

The Hikes were worth it, though I wish I had been in better shape!

While I was on vacation, this announcement went up here!

Is it Time?
Kathryn Elizabeth Jones has been a lover of journaling since the time she was a teenager. But the journaling that began as a keeper of secret thoughts, daily activities, and hopes and dreams of the future, one day changed direction in focus and feeling the moment she realized what personal revelation could truly mean for her.
Although personal scripture reading began at about the same time, it was much later, while Kathryn was reflecting on the power of the Kirtland Temple dedication, that the Lord’s voice was heard, and Kathryn wrote of the experience.
Connecting personal revelation to scripture study and prayer as a conduit for an even stronger relationship with Jesus Christ is the premise of this book.
May it enlighten your life and may your own path be made clear as you take the Lord’s hand, listen to His words, and follow His voice.

What do you do when it's hotter than blazes?

No surprise here.

You write.

My newly titled book: Enlightened: My Personal Journey with Christ Through Scripture Journaling is in the beta stage. This is a tender book for me, and I'm not sure at this moment how or if it will be released in the traditonal way. I'll keep you posted.

I spoke to a friend recently about my hesitation in putting this book on Amazon and she shared with me an experience she'd had recently about going to a gathering. The gentleman there shared his inspirational book but admitted that the only way the book could be purchased was from him.

Even before this information was relayed to me, I was thinking about my own book, and what needed to happen with it. As you can see, I am still unsure.

Sometimes in writing, you make time not only for writing but for reflection.

And I guess you could say that I'm doing that.

May your summer be warm and filled with all of those things you love the most.
