Is it Time?
Kathryn Elizabeth Jones has been a lover of journaling since the time she was a teenager. But the journaling that began as a keeper of secret thoughts, daily activities, and hopes and dreams of the future, one day changed direction in focus and feeling the moment she realized what personal revelation could truly mean for her.
Although personal scripture reading began at about the same time, it was much later, while Kathryn was reflecting on the power of the Kirtland Temple dedication, that the Lord’s voice was heard, and Kathryn wrote of the experience.
Connecting personal revelation to scripture study and prayer as a conduit for an even stronger relationship with Jesus Christ is the premise of this book.
May it enlighten your life and may your own path be made clear as you take the Lord’s hand, listen to His words, and follow His voice.

What do you do when it's hotter than blazes?

No surprise here.

You write.

My newly titled book: Enlightened: My Personal Journey with Christ Through Scripture Journaling is in the beta stage. This is a tender book for me, and I'm not sure at this moment how or if it will be released in the traditonal way. I'll keep you posted.

I spoke to a friend recently about my hesitation in putting this book on Amazon and she shared with me an experience she'd had recently about going to a gathering. The gentleman there shared his inspirational book but admitted that the only way the book could be purchased was from him.

Even before this information was relayed to me, I was thinking about my own book, and what needed to happen with it. As you can see, I am still unsure.

Sometimes in writing, you make time not only for writing but for reflection.

And I guess you could say that I'm doing that.

May your summer be warm and filled with all of those things you love the most.

SCHOOL IS OUT! When will you write?

School is out at my house, and you know what that means.

NOISE.

Quiet time for me - a time when I can think through a sentence is long gone for a while - at least 3 months anyway, so I've decided to write through the mayhem.

And when I'm away from home? I've decided to try these ideas:

You'll like this video. You just need to get through the advertising stuff... (Start at 4:20). This is an older video, but all the tips are awesome and not the typical tips you usually hear.

My favorite is #4.

I'm Still Alive

If you're wondering where I've been, let's just say my mind has been on other things.

Some have asked me, "Where are your author interviews?"

And I really don't have an answer.

I've had a few authors contact me for interviews, and I've sent along the questions for them to answer, but I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

I suppose in every life (mine included) a person does a bit of shifting. And I suppose that's what's been happening here - some shifting.

It's almost Valentine's Day!

I was looking at my blog today and realized I haven't posted since Christmas!

Time flies when you're writing and living life, doesn't it?

So you know, I have been working on the third book in the Brianne James mystery series. The book is called Slipped Up and should be ready come fall of this year. My second book in the Aaden Prescott Space Adventure series is in its beta reading stage. This book should be out early April.

Have a happy Valentine's Day! I promise to keep in touch.

Kathryn
