Your dream of publishing will come!
How
long have you been writing?
Jeanette Andersen |
Off and on for 30+ years
Why
did you decide to write?A goal I set back in 8th grade and I wanted to accomplish it.
What
makes you keeping going?
Ambition to reach my goal.
What
does your writing day look like?Ambition to reach my goal.
Varies. When I can find the time. Normally late at night when I get some free time. Being a mom of 4 boys is a busy job.
What
do you do to study the craft?
Library, research, and writing group forms.
Do
you have a goal when you'd like to be published? Library, research, and writing group forms.
Yes
What
is it?
ASAP. lol
ASAP. lol
Are
you thinking to go the self-published or traditional route?
Still trying to figure that out. Leaning more towards the traditional route, then if nothing, then self- pub.
Tell
us about the genre(s) you write and why you like them. Still trying to figure that out. Leaning more towards the traditional route, then if nothing, then self- pub.
Varies. The one I’m working on now is a Young Reader/Middle Age. My next one
that’s finished is a mystery/romance. Other plots I have are from a Mafia/3rd world, a basic novel to a short stage play.
What
have you learned from book you enjoy to help you to be a better writer?
If they can be a writer, so can I. Just keep on pushing myself to get it done.
What
would you tell a writer like yourself, struggling to get published? If they can be a writer, so can I. Just keep on pushing myself to get it done.
Keep on going. I’ve fallen back too many times and it’s easy
to give up. It’s hard to motivate yourself so find support groups local and on
line. Make a personal dead line. Decide how many pages you want done in a day or a week and stick to it.
